From Flambeaux's childhood staring into the candle flame by his bed in Scotland, came a mystic beauty and hope that propelled him to New York City, and drove him to create a fire-based art career. We know you understand; everyone remembers their first candle.
Once he started playing with a beautiful partner dripping candle wax and watched it drip...drip...drip. Then for the next 17 years he figured out ever-more-creative ways to put candles on the human body as a form of enchantment.
The glitteratti, the A-List and the celeb-world clicked on and soon Flambeaux's Living Candelabras were appearing at all the top events, underground happenings and top-shelf weddings and barmitzvahs.
Presented in varied ways - from art-conceptual to kinky, from spiritually deep to childish and whimsical, they convey an idea - that the magic of the flame is real and pain is no longer to be feared.
